Gameplay
(Cont.)
Necromancer:
The Necromancer is the master of the dead. He uses his minions,
such as
Skeletons, Skeleton Mages, and Golems to do his dirty work for
him. He also
has a nice arsenal of Curses at his disposal, allowing him to
weaken the
enemy, make them run in fear, and many more things. He also can
poison
monsters and can deal out a fair share of direct damage. He isn't
totally
weak, and with the right equipment, can hold his own in combat,
though not
for long. One of his best skills is "Corpse Explosion"
which, when used on
a corpse, explodes a monsters corpse, harming everything around
it.
Amazon:
The ranged attacker of Diablo II. She uses bows, crossbows, and
javelins to
dispose of her foes. Her skills can enhance and make more
effective missile
weapons and javelins, making them a perfect match for her. She
also has
passive skills, such as Dodge, which grants her a chance to dodge
a melee
attack. She can also, at higher levels, summon a fierce Valkyrie,
a
warrioress sent from the heavens by the Amazon god to aid them in
battle.
Sorceress:
The weakest class of all, physically. If you give her time to
advance to
the upper levels, and put sufficient stat points into her Mana,
then you
have a fully-fledged master of the elements. She can use Ice,
Fire, and
Electrical spells, but it is better if she specializes in one.
Fire is the
most powerful, allowing the Sorceress to call down huge Meteors to
crush
her foes. Ice is amazingly useful, as it allows you to freeze your
foes,
thus slowing them down. Electrical spells are also powerful, and
useful in
their own right.
