Diablo II Review
Sunday, August 20, 2000

Conclusion

Most games I get to review are shelved after a week or two. In fact, most
games I acquire period are shelved after a week or two. Not so with
Blizzard games, and the same goes for Diablo II. This game is fo addictive,
that you will NOT want to leave the computer until you've finished the
quest you're currently on, achieved another level, or killed that named
monster.

If you're looking for a reason to buy Diablo II, then I have one for you:
because it is extremely entertaining and fun. Those are the most important
part of all games, their fun-factor. If you've got a game with
realistically modeled 3D raindrops and automatic weapons that recoil in
real-time, nobody is going to care if the gameplay is boring. Blizzard has
wisely focused on making their games fun, and it really shows in their
latest title.

Whether or not you're an action/RPG gamer, I highly recommend that you buy
Diablo II. Remember to secure the computer, disconnect your phone line,
lock your doors, sell your dog, break up with your lover, and stock up on
lots and lots of Hot Pockets and Mountain Dew. You're going to be slaying
the minions of Hell for a long time to come.
