Probably one of Elite Force's best points are its sound and music elements. All of the sounds, the doors sliding open, the phasers firing, the Turbolifts initiating - sound exactly like that of the TV show. You won't be disappointed at all of Elite Force's amazing voices, either. Most of the voices are done by the person who plays them on the TV series. That mean Janeway, Tom Paris, Harry Kim, and all the rest of the stooges are professionaly done. Kudos to Raven for putting such time and effort into Elite Force's excellent sound effects. Elite Force's music is fitting for what environment you're in. If you're strolling along the halls of Voyager, expect low-key, relaxing tunes. Get in a fight, though, and you'll be tensed up by the rapid change of pace in the music.
Weapons
Ah, the heart and soul of every FPS; the weaponry. What we've got here is your standard assortment of Federation-issue phasers and compression rifles, as well as new technology, such as the Infinity Modulator (which constantly remodulates its frequency so Borg can't adapt to it) and something I like to call "Big Charlie". You've also got your Scavenger weapon, which is what those darn space pirates use. There's a bunch of other weapons, and each has its own use, and none of them seem useless. Each weapon also has a secondary-fire mode. Let's take the phaser for example: primary fire is a controlled burst of not-so-powerful energy which isn't all that effective. Secondary fire, whilst using more energy, emits a highly-charged, highly-concentrated stream of white-hot orange stuff that's sure to vapourize most opponents.
Don't expect to find ammunition floating in mid-air as in Quake -- there are Half-Life-esque Health and Weapons terminals scattered throughout the areas you will be exploring. Using one fills up a certain amount of either your Health or your Energy for those energy-based weapons. Ammunition-based weapons will need Ammunition Crystals, which are just as common as the terminals.
