Motocross Madness 2 Review
October 22, 2000

Game Info

This game comes from a pretty big company, you may have heard of them; Microsoft. With a company this large you may think that all they care about is money, well apparently they don't. They care about making the best darned products they can, and Motocross Madness 2 (MCM2) is no exception. MCM2 is the sequel to the 1998 game of the year, and it doesn't just follow in its sister's footsteps, it runs circles around it. When the original Motocross Madness was released in 1998 it was one of the most amazing motocross games that I had ever played, and it still is after almost three years. Yes, the original had a few flaws, like the lack of terrain in some of the outdoor events and the absence of trees and obstacles, but MCM2 takes care of these complaints in a tremendous way.

Interface

After the very easy installation you come to the main menu, where you choose the type of race you want. Then you come to the race options menu where you select your rider and his bike, his clothing and any other options you want, such as controls and bike tuning. Then you are ready for a day at the races. The interface is set up in a very nice and very user-friendly tab form.
